From the Hyperlink to dropdown list, select where you want to go to when the action button is clicked.
The Action Settings dialog box will be displayed. Click where you want the action button to be placed on your slide.From the Drawing toolbar, click AutoShapes – Action Buttons and select a button.If using Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 or earlier versions: Now when in Slide Show view, whichever slide is navigated to, clicking the action button returns to the previously viewed slide.The action button is displayed on each slide. Return to Normal view by clicking the Normal button – the left of those on the Status bar towards the bottom right of the window.For other options, click the Hyperlink to dropdown. By default, since we selected Return, the dialog box indicates that the action button will hyperlink to the last slide viewed.When the mouse is released, the Action Settings dialog box opens. The button can be made as small as desired and can be located at the very edge of a slide so that it is not obtrusive. Click and drag to draw the action button on the Slide Master in an appropriate location. The mouse cursor becomes a black cross.From the Shapes dropdown, choose the required Action Button at the bottom in this example we use the seventh button, which is Return.On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Shapes.To ensure that the action button appears on all slides, click on the top thumbnail slide at the left of the window.
